‘Transat Anglais’ decamps to France

In a move that took city officials in Plymouth by surprise, The Transat Race is to move from its birthplace in Plymouth to Brest. The first and oldest singlehanded transatlantic race, the event was born in Britain and is synonymous with such greats as Francis Chichester and Blondie Hasler.
