hen it came to wedding inspiration, David Preston (left, 31 and a boutique manager at Christian Dior) and Hunter Pugh (31 and an attorney) looked’s Carrie Bradshaw. For their own day, David and Hunter combined Carrie’s chic city style with a bit of their own Miami flair. “We wanted art deco décor with modern touches,” David says. “Think: formal but fun.” The women in their wedding party wore white tuxes and sapphire pumps, an homage to Carrie’s wedding day style. At the ceremony, guests sat on ghost chairs as David and Hunter said their vows under a monstera leaf arch. At the reception, champagne took the place of Carrie’s cosmo as the signature drink. After all, “It’s our favorite,” David says.
