Milan Design Week 2018

One of the most curious things at Milan Design Week this past April was that Tom Dixon didn’t show up. Dixon has been a prominent presence in Milan for the past decade at least. This year he skipped it, deciding to take his wares on a global tour instead, personally visiting the markets where his brand sells best. He might be back next year and consider the fair a biennial event from now on.
