Is your decision to enter into the world of motoryachts dependent on the fact there seems to be a certain “slow up” in the super and mega sailing yacht market?
Obviously we have given this aspect some thought even if in a more abstract way academically speaking. This is because in principal the fall in interest you are referring to has a lot to do with the sort of production that is only remotely connected to our philosophy. Today’s sailing yachts are clearly heading too much towards sporty looks with flush decks, no coachroof tops, and uncomfortable owner cabins, and you’ve got be an acrobat to scramble up and down the companionway. In the main they’re like gyms but with a big difference – they cost millions and in some cases lack room enough in which to garage a reasonably sized tender.
