PALUMBO TAKESOVER MONDOMARINE – Palumbo Superyachts, Palumbo Group’s yachting division has recently announced the acquisition of Mondomarine’s shipyard in Savona, a really important yachting hub just one hour’s drive from Monaco.
The takeover with a twenty year lease obtained from the competent body was completed on November 15 last. This new acquisition further expands Palumbo Superyachts and Gruppo Palumbo’s yacht building capacity, as they are in eight other yards, counting those in Ancona, Naples, Malta, Marseilles,Tenerife and Rijeka and sales offices in Monaco. “It took us about a year to get this new acquisition and we firmly believe in the potential of this yard and in a brand such as Mondomarine and in the yard’s geographic site” says CEO Giuseppe Palumbo.“We’re specially happy for this new outcome because it will allow us to continue to further develop new yacht builds, refits and maintenance which we’ve been doing throughout our entire network”.
