MR DEPENDABLE
Yamaha’s Super Ténéré is the motorcycling equivalent of a schooner of Carlton Draught. It’s not unusual to come across one and nobody really deeply dislikes it. It may not be the go-to choice these days with all the new-fangled boutique beers crowding the market, but the Carlton Draught drinker sits quietly at the bar knowing he’ll get the same familiar taste sip after sip. And he’ll be just as happy as the boys downing $18 schooners of technologically marvellous craft concoctions because the journey from sobriety to catching a buzz is just a matter of tipping the glass back and being able to find a joy in your brew of choice. It’s no different on a bike. Find the bike you like and the kilometres disappear like the contents of a decent schooner; smooth and easy.
