It’s worth remembering before we kick off here that the 790 Adventure project began without a clear idea of what the bike would be in the end. The engine platform was decided but from there the company wasn’t sure whether, in test rider Quinn Cody’s words, it was going to be “an aggressive offroad bike or a street touring bike”. This was a quote taken from a conversation we had in relation to the 790 Adventure R, which is quite obviously an aggressively offroad bike, and yet here we are on a bike that seems to show they went ahead and made both.
