COMPOSTABLE BAGS, CUPS ETC.

Recently we opened a small coffee shop and specialty produce shop just out of Whangarei.

We feel that it is important to support the health of our bodies and our environment, and to do our bit towards this we only use compostable checkout bags, prepack bags, cups, trays and cutlery. We also of course have waste coffee grounds and produce waste from the shop.

Our problem is that our city (Whangarei) does not have a commercial composting facility, so we would like to work out ways of keeping our compostable waste out of landfill and return it to the earth by spreading the broken down matter under the orchard trees that are part of our shop property.
