But, as soon as the powers that be throw into the mix a book full of legal requirements that dictate exactly how that cake can be made and forcibly regulate the recipe through biannual checks, all of a sudden having your cake and eating it the way you want becomes a whole lot harder.
So, when Elliot Osborne wanted to whip up a sweet treat far beyond what your local bakery is flogging — one that wouldn’t be held back by the street car recipe book and wasn’t going to ruin his bank account in the process — he decided to forget any notion of road legality and instead focus on developing a package best suited to the unrelenting corners and never-ending straights of his local track, without ever needing to set foot on the street again.
