Tail light to the rescue

Last year I was concerned that the single brake light on my caravan wasn’t particularly bright and I knew that LED versions would be better, but it got used, parked, and then forgotten about.

Then suddenly it was that time of year again when the caravan needed a warrant before we could use it. The man at the testing station raised concerns that the single tail light — while still warrantable — had deteriorated, and the reflectors should be larger.

He was quite right, of course, and so it was off to the nearest automotive retailer for some new LED tail lights, which included an indicator and a larger reflector that would fit the space available.

Removing the tail light showed why it was
