    hen Marnie Hammond founded Cafe Culture in December 1998, the Australian furniture industry was markedly different to today. Drawn to a career in commercial furniture and the ability to work on diverse projects, Hammond started out in Canterbury, Sydney, with a trade showroom supplying café furniture direct to hospitality owners.
