I am an avid reader who would love some help in dating this photo if it’s possible. It was found in a beautiful (very) old photo album that belonged to my maternal great grandmother who died in 1955 — my mother was only 13 when she died. I can only assume the man in the photo is my 2x great grandfather, James Thomas Barden (1837–1909), but as I say, this is only an assumption. I would love to be more certain!
