When you grow up in a typical rural service town in this country it’s just assumed that when the time comes when you need to tow something you will – as if by magic, or more likely, osmosis – ‘know how.’
Not for me, born and raised the son of a sheep farmer near Gore, the modern way as espoused by my Auckland-born son Andrew, whose answer to everything these days seems to be an impatient and/or exasperated ‘just Google it’ or ‘just look on You Tube’ Dad!
