LEAF COASTERS

Cut and mould leaf shapes in easy-to-use air-drying clay

1 Choose large clean, dry leaves to make impressions in the modelling clay. Working quickly, roll out enough clay for two leaf shapes at a time (the clay dries in the open air, so keep the remainder in an airtight container). Press each leaf into the clay sheet gently, but firmly enough for the veins and edges to register.

Discard the leaves and cut around the shapes using a craft knife. Put each clay
