‘I would die without the women in my life – they’ve carried me’

Jojo Moyes has sold 38 million books worldwide. They include The Girl You Left Behind, The One Plus One, and Me Before You, which was made into a film starring Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke. Her latest book, The Giver of Stars, is about five extraordinary women in 1930s Kentucky, who worked on horseback as travelling librarians. Jojo lives in the UK with her family.
