    Boston Area Marriage License Requirements

    In Massachusetts, the legal age for marriage is __ years old. Couples under __ must have parents present and obtain a court order if __ years old. Neither residency nor blood tests are required. Both the bride and groom must apply for and sign the license together. There is a three-day waiting period to obtain the license, which is valid for __ days in the state of Massachusetts only.
