She started from humble beginnings making clay masks with an old cake mixer in her dad’s Wellington workshop. Years later, after winning awards for her bespoke range of exquisite beauty products, Tailor Skincare owner Sara Quilter still has the same goal in mind. To empower women to be kind to each other, embrace imperfection and truly believe in the power of positivity.

I flipped my skincare bottle over and read the back. It was full of synthetic ingredients and I couldn’t understand how these could nourish my skin. So I decided to start making my own.
