Our Porsche detailing guide and product test is one of our favourites of each year. As much as we all like to drive our pride and joy, they look even better when kept clean, and these days there’s a rich resource of products available in the marketplace which claim to change the game when it comes to keeping your car looking its best. We’re always keen to explore these products and reveal which are really worth your time and money – that way you can purchase only the best of the best for your car.

Our tester for the occasion is Chuck Richards. A serial Porsche owner for the last 20 years with a foot in both the water- and air-cooled camps, Chuck would describe himself as a detailing enthusiast and has spent many hours polishing his flat six fleet. “Keeping all my cars clean and looking like new is important to me. Ease of cleaning with top results is key, with my time for detailing largely limited to weekends just like everybody else,” he says. “I’m always interested in new products, and the opportunity to test a number of manufacturers’ products provides a great opportunity to increase and share my knowledge and experience.”
