In a roundabout way, for anybody sporting a Farlows garment, Frankley services in Worcestershire is the connection. More specifically, Peter Sant, the brand manager at Farlows, designed the first Burger King outlet at this somewhat prosaic place between junctions 3 and 4.

So, how did the person responsible for ensuring that people cut a dash in the field while keeping warm and dry at the same time complete the journey from motorway to moor?
