SOME YOU WIN…

There are a lot of things I love about getting my Prog mag in the mail.

First off, it’s just beautiful to look at. But the main thing for me is discovering new music. The writer that I’ve come to rely on most for this is Julian Marszalek. I knew there was something going on with him when I looked at his top 10 list a few months ago. His was the only list where I didn’t recognise most of the names on it. I started listening to his top few and couldn’t stop’til I heard every band in the list. Then, a couple of months later, I get completely blown away by his feature story on the Polish scene 96]. Wow, there were some real gems in there that are soon to be part of my permanent collection. Needless to say, I now scan every mag for anything written by Julian. Thanks, mag.
