Counter demonstration to LACS/ BBYM rally hailed as a success

A small group of pro-fieldsports supporters headed to Bradford city centre on 10 August to counter a rally by supporters of the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) and Ban Bloodsports on Yorkshire’s Moors (BBYM) ahead of the Glorious Twelfth.

The aim of the 10-strong counter protest, lead by Simon Grace, was simple: educate the general public about the benefits of game shooting; the role gamekeepers play in game management; and the health and environmental benefits of eating game meat.
