f the few things 2017’s got right, Harley Quinn was definitely one of them. That explains why she’s back in DC’s next bonkers blockbuster, again played with unhinged glee by Margot Robbie. This time around, Quinn’s forming her own gang – the titular Birds of Prey – to protect a young girl (Ella Jay Basco) from crime lord Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). “We are not pulling any punches whatsoever,” promises Rosie Perez, who plays Renee Montoya, a member of the Birds, alongside Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell).
