2020 Vision

Small changes don’t appear impressive because they aren’t, but together those same small changes reveal major shifts. Consider the launch of the iPhone in 2007. It was a breakthrough at the time, but few could imagine the enormity of its impact. Even two years later it was still a fancy gadget, with relatively limited capability, that not many could afford. But by 2017, there was no doubt that it changed the world and transformed societies. Now more people have smartphones than almost any other electronic device, and phones are no longer used occasionally but all the time.
