Dingetjie Does It Again

Born years apart from me, my brother Greg is a Generation X filmmaker and I’m a typical retired Baby Boomer. We grew up in quite di-erent times. My formative years were the Swinging Sixties and his, well, I’m not quite sure. But we both have a strong belief in the importance of family and are looking forward to our trip together in Dingetjie.

I suppose you could say Dingetjie is also a Generation Xer as she›s a 1975 Chev 1900 LS. Brought up in Bonnievale on a farm, she›s a country girl and proud of it. She›s tough too, and gamely carries me over the roughest roads and mountain passes that the Nuts and Bolts Rally group can find.
