Prairie Star

Finished quilt size: 42" x 42"

Stars are one of my favorite quilt blocks. This fabric grouping has the appearance of wool so it seemed a perfect combination for a pieced star as the focal design with fused machine appliqué in the outer border to tie the look of wool into the project. The name Prairie Star seemed fitting as it would be a beautiful barn quilt for the prairie setting I live in!

Material Requirements

□ ¼ yard each of red, light blue, purple, gold and navy prints for blocks, circle flowers and berries - fat quarters are an option

□ ⅓ yard green print for blocks, circle flower, leaves and vines
