The Maximum Technically Permissible Laden Mass (MTPLM) is the most that a ’van is allowed to weigh when fully loaded. If you obtained your driver’s licence after 1 January 1997, you’re restricted to driving motorhomes up to 3500kg MTPLM, unless you take a retest.
