HOW IT WORKS

1 MAX WEIGHT

The Maximum Technically Permissible Laden Mass (MTPLM) is the most that a ’van is allowed to weigh when fully loaded. If you obtained your driver’s licence after 1 January 1997, you’re restricted to driving motorhomes up to 3500kg MTPLM, unless you take a retest.

2 BERTHS & SEATS

Bear in mind that not all motorhomes have the same number of belted seats as they do sleeping berths. You’ll need to make sure that you have sufficient belted seats
