ALTHOUGH WE ALL hope never to experience a major accident or the theft of our caravans, you can’t help but wonder what happens to those damaged or stolen/recovered vans that insurers write off.

So I met Sean McGrath, founder of SFM Caravans in West Yorkshire, to find out.

Back in 1990, Sean was working for an engineering company, selling medical instruments and machinery, but was looking for a new challenge. By chance, he
