There are some really delightful winter campsites, both in this country and abroad, which make hitching up and braving the elements well worth the effort.

Our destination was Bruges, a fairy tale town full of joy and sparkle, tinsel and lights, and Christmas cheer all in one pretty parcel, just waiting to be unwrapped and savoured. Oh, and chocolate – there is a lot of chocolate!
