DO WE NEED A WARRANTY?

QI am planning to buy my first caravan (which will be secondhand), but I’ve read various reports online about people getting home, only to find problems with their van. Presumably a warranty would help to cover this, so what should we be aware of before taking the buying plunge? I’m keen to get the best deal possible!
