A stabbing pain in my stomach startled me awake. Screaming out in agony, I grabbed my husband Tom, 28, beside me in bed.
‘I need to go to hospital,’ I gasped in excruciating pain.
He took one look at me doubled over.‘I’ll call an ambulance,’ he panicked. I glanced at the clock. 2am.
‘They won’t be here for a while,’ Tom said.
Winded by another painful blow, I knew I couldn’t wait that long.
Green gunk was inside me
It was February 2012, and the first time I’d felt like this.
Tom drove me to A&E, where I was ushered into a cubicle.
