• Vaseline
• UV filter

TRY IT IN PHOTOSHOP

For a mess-free way to soft focused images, open your shot into Photoshop and hit Ctrl/Cmd+J to duplicate the layer. Now go to Filter> Blur>Lens Blur then drag the Radius slider until the edges are blurred to your desired effect and hit OK.
