CROSS-LEASE PROS AND CONS

Own a cross-lease property? Thinking about purchasing or selling one? Beware. Cross-lease titles have been likened to a “ticking time bomb”. There are specific provisions set out in a cross-lease document that many people are not aware of, which restrict what you can legally do to your house.
