Elizabeth Strout’s collection of 13 connected stories set in the small coastal town of Crosby, Maine, was published in 2008. The stories feature a large cast of locals, all of whom have some connection to Olive Kitteridge, a cantankerous woman whose idiosyncratic charm and knack for finding her way to what matters have made her a hugely popular character.
