want to extend a huge thank you to Amber Esseiva, Assistant Curator at the Institute for Contemporary Art at Virginia Commonwealth University, for stepping in at the eleventh hour to serve as juror for this issue. Amber did a brilliant job of sifting through hundreds of applications and arriving a very compelling group of emerging artists. We received applications from current MFA candidates and recent graduates representing 92 different schools.
