My bank isn’t playing ball on interest rate cuts

TIME TO REFINANCE?

When ANZ and Westpac failed to pass on June’s full rate cut, the treasurer, Josh Frydenberg, was quick to encourage borrowers to take their business elsewhere if they weren’t happy. But as most borrowers know, refinancing can be time-consuming and sometimes costly. It’s not something we want to do every time interest rates change. Who knows? Next time around other lenders may turn out to be the skinflints.
