So it was with Chilean progressive metal crew Target, who contacted Hammer via social media and charmed us into checking out their new album, Deep Water. And thank Satan they did. One of the most jaw-dropping examples of modern metal’s progressive urges we have heard in years, it’s a monumentally powerful and evocative piece of work that suggests that Target will not be confined to their homeland for very long.
