What inspired you to start Loving Humanity?

In 2014 I was reading a magazine in my doctor’s waiting room and saw a shocking photo of 18,000 people queuing for food in a Damascus refugee camp. In the foreground of the photo was a woman, and I had a sickening thought: ‘What if I was there and what if that was me?’ Imagining myself in her shoes changed everything. For this woman, basic things like food, shelter and going to the loo were major issues. I was speechless
