This can come at a cost if we choose to dial up exercise too quickly, however, as our bodies don’t have time to adapt. ‘With a dramatic increase in physical activity comes the increased risk of injuries, such as tendinitis and stress fractures, all resulting from repetitive trauma on the body,’ Nathalie explains. ‘It’s so important to build up exercise gradually.’
