ADVENTURER LEVEL: PRO

Gaven Sinclair rose to fame courtesy of his mammoth cycle from Cape Town to Cairo in 2017. He chose to start in Muizenberg, Cape Town, detouring immediately to the Wild Coast, cycling along the beaches there for about a week, an experience he describes as incredible. He completed his journey in 261 days, covering more than 10 000km. For most people, that would be enough, but the following year he was back, this time with another crazy mission: a 4 000km trail run across South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana and Namibia, a mission he completed in April 2018.
