WORK IT LIKE A BEAUTY BOSS

AERIN LAUDER

The granddaughter of industry stalwart Estée Lauder says striking out on her own was a huge risk that ultimately paid off. Now she pours all her passion into her eponymous label.

Who is your biggest inspiration in business?

“My grandmother Estée was an incredible role model and taught me the importance of passion, style, hard work, family and, of course, all things beautiful.”

What has been the best lesson you’ve learned along the way? “That it is my name on the product, so everything has to be the best that it can be. I learned this from Estée at an early age. She taught me the importance of quality and attention to detail.”

“I’m most proud of my children [Jack and Will], getting married and following my passion to start my own brand. I’m also really proud when someone tells me they love my products.
