Since her time as a court reporter covering murder trials in the early 2000s, investigative reporter Louise Milligan has always been interested in human drama. “In the courts, it is served up to you. After covering for the program the harrowing execution of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran in Bali, Milligan turned her attention to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Abuse, uncovering new witnesses in an investigation that would eventually lead right to the top of the Catholic Church and the conviction of Cardinal George Pell as a child sex offender.
