TRAVELLING LIGHT

TRAVELLING with fishing tackle can be a quite an ordeal and I always find myself tending to over pack and cater for every possible fishing situation, carting along cumbersome rod tubes, tackle bags, reel cases, wet weather gear every nick-nack I could think of to be best prepared as possible. Preparation can pay immense dividends when travelling for an extended angling adventure however for a short day trip, lugging around unwieldy rods and loaded tackle bags is uncomfortable and often unnecessary.
