A FAMILY KITCHEN RENOVATION

We are a family of five – my husband, Matt and our three boys, Harry, seven, Sam, five and Eddie, three.

We bought our house three and a half years ago – it’s a 100-year-old bungalow in a beautiful, tree-lined cul-de-sac. Originally the kitchen was in a small room off of the main hallway and at the back of the original home was a 70s addition that housed the living and dining areas. It was quite a big space and I really wanted to be closer to the boys playing outside instead of being stuck in the kitchen at meal prep times so with a few adjustments, we managed to squeeze in a kitchen and still have room for living and dining spaces.
