1 THE GROUP ALL GROW UP

This season sees core foursome deal with something just as terrifying as shadow monsters or the Upside Down — the inescapable fact that they’re growing up. With that growth comes girlfriends: Mike has grown closer to Eleven (to Hopper’s great chagrin), Lucas and Max are a couple, and even Dustin has found someone to sing epic duets with. After spending the majority of the last season as the host for the Mind Flayer it makes sense that Will would try to hold onto any semblance of normalcy with his friends — aka many games of Dungeons & Dragons
