Why did you want to make Rebecca?

It’s very different from my other films. I wanted to stretch my legs outside the world, as it were, of getting shotand I didn’t. I found it really thrilling in the twists and turns. And the script is kind of three different films. You move through a romance into a kind of haunted-house film into a thriller.
