hari Turpin’s jewelry-designing career began more than 40 years ago and has been showcased in her Jackson, Wyoming, retail store Pearls by Shari over the last two decades. As her reputation grew in the world of South Sea pearl buyers — for carrying some of the world’s rarest and highest-quality pieces — she began seriously considering opening a second location.
