WHAT with Dry January and Veganuary, the northern hemisphere’s coldest month isn’t getting any more cheerful. It seems to have become a general excuse for the celebration of finger wagging, marked in California as ‘Dried Plum Digestive Month’, in Tennessee as ‘Be Kind to Food Servers Month’ and across the US as ‘Hot Tea Month’.
