Nostalgic English flowers, but with an Audrey Hepburn feel – that’s the image I had in mind when I set up The Great British Florist,’ says Heather Gorringe. Her company now delivers bouquets of traditional British garden flowers to every corner of the UK, with many of the blooms grown on the Herefordshire farm that she runs with her husband, Phil.

Heather’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident from an early age. ‘I always wanted my own business, that’s what drove me,’ she says. After art college, she
