EASY SHACKLES

Shackles are an important part of the connection between your tow vehicle and caravan, boat or trailer. Tight shackles are a real pain and loose shackles can easily work their way out and fall off.

In a letter to Caravan World magazine published in April 2017 on page 24 (yes, I was recently reading an old edition), one clever reader has welded a ‘T piece’ on to the screw section to make it easier to both undo and do up his shackles.
